Qingcheng Mountain->Dujiangyan Scenic Area

Qingcheng Mountain has been known as "the most secluded place in the world" since ancient times. It is the birthplace of Taoism and there are many Taoist temples to explore in the mountains. Mount Qingcheng is divided into two parts: the front mountain and the back mountain, and tickets are sold separately for each part. The front mountain is where Taoist culture and cultural relics are concentrated. The "Qingcheng Mountain" that tourists often refer to refers to the front mountain; the back mountain of Qingcheng is famous for its natural scenery and is a good place for vacation and leisure.

Take the high-speed rail from Xipu in Chengdu to Qingcheng Mountain, take the sightseeing bus directly after getting off the high-speed rail, walk for more than 50 minutes to take the cable car, and then walk for more than 50 minutes to the Laojun Pavilion on the top of the mountain. The whole journey takes about 4 hours and is still worth having fun.

The Dujiangyan Scenic Area is located on the main stream of the Minjiang River west of Dujiangyan City. It was built by Li Bing, the prefect of Shu County in the Qin State, and his son around 256 BC. It is the most complete ancient water conservancy project in China. The project consists of three main projects: Yuzui diversion dike, Feishayan spillway, and Baopingkou water inlet, as well as ancillary projects such as Baizhang Dike and Renzi Dike. It divides the turbulent Minjiang River into the outer river and the inner river. The outer river is used for flood discharge and the inner river is used for irrigation, making the western Sichuan plain a "land of abundance".
